From Vision to Action: NBSC Presents 2026–2033 Strategic Plan to Stakeholders
The Planning and Development Office (PDO) of Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) held a Stakeholders’ Forum on June 30, 2025, as part of the Monday Convocation Program at the NBSC Covered Court. The forum aimed to present and gather input on the college’s seven-year Strategic Development Plan (SDP) for 2026–2033.
The Head of the Planning and Development Office, Mr. John Kevin A. Artuz, MS, led the presentation of the SDP, which included revised mission and vision statements, core values, and identified Priority Result Areas (PRAs). These PRAs are Leadership, Governance, and Resource Management; Academic and Student Services; and Research, Innovation, and Community Engagement.
The new SDP is designed to align with the institution’s Vision, Goals, Mission, and Objectives (VGMOs) and with the strategic directions of governing agencies. It also draws inspiration from the mission and vision laid out by Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, Ed.D, CESE—then a presidential candidate and now the current SUC President I—during the 2024 public forum for presidential candidates.
In line with a state college’s fourfold functions—Instruction, Research, Community Extension, and Production—the forum served as a participatory platform for students, faculty, staff, and partner agencies. Conducted online and onsite, it allowed stakeholders to provide comments, suggestions, and feedback to help shape the final SDP.
